The Kowloon Masjid Dawah Committee held another Open Day of Kowloon Masjid on July 26, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30p.m. Alhumdulillah, the function turned out to be quite successful. The response of the visitors was very encouraging.

 

The program started at 2:00 p.m.with tea reception. It was followed by Short talk in Cantonese on “What is Islam?” by Br. Abu Bakar Ma and Q&A session by Sr. Sharifah and Zareenah. Over 70 visitors stayed for the talk and Q&A session. The response was much better than expected.

 

Reporters from Hong Kong Economic Times came to cover the event and made a very detailed enquiry on different aspects of Islam. It was reported in “English Street” on 28 September 2009 issue.

 

Over 300 visitors were recorded. The reasonably good number of visitors was the result of hard work of many brothers who distributed leaflets near the entrance of the mosque, inviting passer-by to visit the mosque.
