The Prophet (sa) also said: "Whoever does not recite Surat Al-Fatiha (the first Surah of the Qur'an) in this Salat (prayer), his Salat (prayer) is invalid." [Bukhari]
Bismillaah hir-Rahma nir-Raheem
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Al-hamdu lil-lahi Rabbil 'Ala-meen
Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds.
Ar-Rah ma nir-Rah heem.
Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Maliki yawmid-deen.
Master of the Day of Judgment.
Iyyaka nA' budu wa-iyyaka nast A’een.
Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.
Ihdinas siratal mustaqeem.
Show us the straight way.
Siratal ladheena an'Amta ‘Alayhim Ghair-il-maghdubi 'Alaihim wa lad-daaaal-leen.
The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, Those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.
